Cindy,

You have put a lump in my throat now, My boy Zed hit his 8th birthday on June 16th.

The thought of his eventual loss is a selfish one I know. The thought of not having him around is a bit disturbing.

He has done everything we have for the entire 8 years of his life including sleep between us every night. Maybe a little too close!?

For now his last birthday made me realize that I should totally enjoy and cherish every moment.

Oh, you may me teary-eyed. Pets become SUCH a part of the family, of course you remember when they depart this world. It was just this time two years ago, that my children's first pet had to be put down. Max was a big panther of a cat, and we all cried buckets. Now we have 2 cats and one dog.
